AI/ML Research Engineer
RLink Solutions is hiring for a client for a 3-month short-term contract opportunity.
Location: USA, Bangladesh, Brazil, Colombia, Egypt, Ghana, India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Nigeria, Turkey, Vietnam
Start: Immediate
Rate: US – $50/hr-$70 | Non-US – $20-$30/hr
Schedule: 40 hours/week, minimum 8 hours/day, with 4 hours of PST overlap

Requirements:
• Master’s or PhD in AI, ML, Computer Science, or a related technical field
• 7+ years of professional experience with significant ML/research engineering experience
• Strong experience with machine learning, model training, evaluation, or AI systems
• Research experience in one or more areas: reinforcement learning, post-training, synthetic/agentic data, AI evaluation, benchmarks, model understanding, or AI agents
• Strong Python/programming skills and experience with modern ML frameworks
• Experience designing experiments and working with research-grade datasets and evaluation systems
• Strong research, analytical, communication, and technical leadership skills
• LinkedIn profile is mandatory and must be included on the resume

What You’ll Do
• Conduct research and experiments on advanced AI and machine learning systems
• Develop and evaluate models, datasets, benchmarks, and AI evaluation frameworks
• Work on areas such as reinforcement learning, post-training, synthetic/agentic data, AI agents, and model evaluation
• Build research prototypes and tooling using Python and modern ML frameworks
• Analyze experimental results and turn findings into practical improvements
• Collaborate with research, engineering, product, and operations teams
• Contribute to technical documentation, research reports, publications, or open-source projects where applicable
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers or researchers
• Develop and evaluate models, datasets, benchmarks, and AI evaluation frameworks
• Work on areas such as reinforcement learning, post-training, synthetic/agentic data, AI agents, and model evaluation
